Compress PDF to 50 KB

This page opens the PDF compressor with the Strong level preselected for a 50 KB target. Add your PDF, tap Compress PDF and download — it all runs in your browser. 50 KB is a very tight limit, so only short or text-light PDFs will fit. Use it when your form or portal states that size.

How to use the compress pdf

  1. Open this page. The PDF compressor opens with the Strong level already selected.
  2. Add your PDF. Drop or select the PDF you want to compress. A new file replaces the current one.
  3. Check the level. Strong is 72 DPI — the smallest file. Medium and Light stay closer to the original quality.
  4. Compress the PDF. Tap Compress PDF and wait — every page is re-saved as an image on your device.
  5. Download the result. Save the smaller PDF. If it is still above 50 KB, split it or remove pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a PDF under 50 KB?

Often, but not always. The Strong level shrinks the pages; check the new size shown. Long or image-heavy PDFs may stay above 50 KB, in which case split the file or remove pages.

What happens if the PDF doesn't get smaller?

If compression cannot reduce the file, the original is kept. Try a stronger level, or split the PDF into parts.

Do my files leave my device?

No. The PDF is processed in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
