How to use the compress pdf

- Check the level. Light is 150 DPI — the least compression, so pages stay closest to the original.
- Compress the PDF. Tap Compress PDF and wait — every page is re-saved as an image on your device.
- Download the result. Save the smaller PDF. If it is already small, the original is kept.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a PDF under 2 MB?
Often, but not always. The Light level shrinks the pages; check the new size shown. Long or image-heavy PDFs may stay above 2 MB, in which case split the file or remove pages.
What happens if the PDF doesn't get smaller?
If compression cannot reduce the file, the original is kept. Try a stronger level, or split the PDF into parts.
Do my files leave my device?
