How to convert JPG to PDF for upload
Turn JPG photos into a PDF for your upload form. Add images, pick 1, 2 or 4 per page on A4 and download — it runs in your browser.
A form asks for one PDF and all you have is a folder of JPG photos. Do not attach them one by one. Convert them in your browser: add the JPGs, pick one, two or four images per page on A4, and download the PDF the tool builds. It runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no signup.
Steps
- Open the JPG to PDF tool at
/tools/images-to-pdf/. - Add one or more JPG or PNG photos by dropping them on the page or tapping to pick. Each photo can be up to 30 MB.
- Choose how many images go on each page — 1, 2 or 4 — then set the page setup: layout and orientation.
- Download the PDF and save it to your device.
One image per page, or several
The tool builds an A4 PDF from your photos. One image per page gives each photo a full page to itself, while two or four per page packs them tighter when the form wants a few photos inside one file. Images per page and the page setup are separate choices, so set both before you download. Then open the finished PDF once and check that the photos landed on the pages you expected, in the order you added them.
Read the form before you upload
Check what the request actually states: one file or several, how many pages, which format, and any size limit. Convert only the photos the form needs, and keep the rest out of the file. If the form also lists pixel dimensions, the image resizer at /tools/image-resizer/ can resize and compress the photos first. Match the requirements first, upload second — a second upload round usually costs more time than a careful first pass.
When the file is still too big
If the finished PDF comes out over the limit your form states, the guide at /articles/reduce-pdf-file-size/ covers shrinking a PDF. And if one photo is too heavy to add in the first place, compress it with the image resizer first, then run the conversion again. If the form asks for the photos separately as well as in the PDF, keep both: download the PDF, and send the originals in the format the form lists.
